The first time someone looked into my eyes to assess my health I was fascinated.  The year was 2006 and the someone was a herbalist/naturopathic doctor in London.  At that time I had never heard of iridology but somehow it felt familiar and it made perfect sense to me that the eyes can tell us about our health. Afterall, they are the windows to our soul!   I was so intrigued and I wanted to know more.  Fast forward to 2014 when I took an introductory iridology course at Hippocrates Health Institute with Dr. Ellen Tart Jensen.  Then, in 2015 after discovering Dr. Robert Morse, I enrolled at the International School of Detoxification, took his course Clinical Iridology and Regenerative Detoxification and got certified to practice iridology as a Detoxification Specialist.  During the course I had my iris photos taken for the first time.  A few weeks later I received my written iridology report in the mail.  My excitement was palpable, so eager was I to read the findings.  The first 2 pages of the report included printed photos of my eyes…but I did not recognize them…those are not my eyes!   I thought for a moment the office got the photos mixed up.  But then I looked at them carefully and realized they were in fact my eyes.   Under light and magnification your eyes look very different.   The report was a huge wakeup call for me – exactly what I needed to start taking my health more seriously. I thought I was so healthy, I felt so healthy.  But my eyes had a very different story to tell.  They revealed significant toxic load throughout my body.  It really made me wonder….if I feel as good as I do now with all these toxins in my body, what would I feel like without all these toxins in my body?   I want to know!  So I am on a journey, to detox my body until it is free of toxins. My eyes will tell me when I have reached this point.  I want to know what it is like to be a human on this planet in a body free of toxins.   Don’t you?
